Driver Training.</U></B></div> <bR> <div> All trainees and/or their guardians (if appropriate) are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms before training is provided.</div> <bR> <div> All instructors will be currently registered with the Driving Standards Agency (D.S.A) and hold a relevant qualification/licence to instruct.</div> <bR> <div> All cars provided will be legal and roadworthy, and will have a “dual control” system fitted.</div> <bR> <div> M.O.D. and its instructors will comply at all times with the D.S.A. code of conduct.</div> <bR> <div> Trainees must hold a current valid provisional car licence before training commences.</div> <bR> <div> Lessons shall be pre-arranged between the instructor and the trainee at a mutually convenient time.</div> <bR> <div> 48 hours notice of cancellation must be given by the trainee or a lesson fee will be charged.</div> <bR> <div> Trainees will be given an appointment card and this should be presented to the Instructor on each driving lesson.</div> <bR> <div> Payment for driving lessons shall be made by cash/cheque on the completion of each lesson or at the commencement of a “course” of lessons. Payment can also be made via Paypal if the client requests this service.  A surcharge of 5% is payable if using this method of payment.</div> <bR> <div> A fee may be charged to the trainee for dishonored cheques.</div> <bR> <div> A fixed fee shall be charged for the hire of a motor vehicle and Instructor for the Driving Test (fee to be equivalent of hourly lesson rate).</div> <bR> <div> Instructors will attempt to contact the trainee if lesson start times are delayed by longer than 15 minutes.</div> <bR> <div> M.O.D. cannot be held responsible for cancelling lessons/tests where the cause is due to </div> <div> unforeseen/unavoidable, mechanical defect or accident, or cancellation by the DSA, but will inform the trainee as soon as possible.</div> <bR> <div> Only one trainee is to be in the training vehicle at any time unless specifically requested by the trainee.</div> <bR> <div> Trainees shall not be allowed to drive if the instructor deems that they are unfit </div> <div> e.g. due to the consumption of alcohol or drugs or sickness.  A lesson fee may be charged in this instance.</div> <bR> <div> Violence, wilful damage, physical or verbal abuse will be reported to the police and action will be taken against the individual responsible.  Fees will NOT be refunded in this instance.</div> <bR> <div> The use of vehicle for driving test purposes may be withheld at the sole discretion of the instructor if it  is deemed that the trainee is unfit or not competent to proceed with the test.</div> <bR> <div> The provision of a vehicle for the purpose of a driving test cannot be guaranteed where the test has been booked by the trainee without the instructors' prior knowledge or agreement.</div> <bR> <div> Trainees will be trained to drive in accordance with D.S.A. standards/guidelines, however driving test results are due to the individual trainees driving skills and performance and is in no way guaranteed.</div> <bR> <div> Trainees contact details and/or other information held, will be treated as confidential and will not be released to third parties.</div> <bR> <div> <B>M.O.D. and its Instructors will endeavour to uphold its good name and goodwill, however, if a trainee feels they have any concerns or problems that cannot be resolved with the instructor, then the matter should be referred to: </B></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>Ms J.J.Smith, Customer Service Manager, </B></I></div> <div> <FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Verdana" ><I><B>M.O.D. on 01375 376579 or e-mail:</B></I></FONT><I><B> </B></I><A HREF="mailto:admin@moduk.org.uk" TARGET="_top" TITLE="mailto:admin@moduk.org.uk"><U><I><B>admin@moduk.org.uk</B></I></U></A><I><B>  </B></I><I><B> </B></I></div> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
